Now that we're older it seems they go by so fast! Not long ago I went North into the Black Hills of South Dakota and fell in love. I love being in the middle of nature. A nearby stream of running water would make the perfect picture for me. There are some bike trails in a nearby town, I think it would be wonderful to go walk them with my husband (no kids). We could stop and just listen to the peaceful sounds of nature. Thanks for writing this post, it helped spark a wonderful idea. Oh boy do I ever remember those long summers.
