Fall in Colorado

Fall is my favorite time of year.
My husband and I took a drive out to Golden Gate park in the foothills last weekend. Here are a few pictures I took.
I love seeing the trees change from green to gold, the aspens shimmering in the breeze giving off their golden light.
When they are lit from behind, they positively glow.

I surround myself with beauty.
I seek beauty in this world.
I see the hurt, the pain, and the broken spirits.
Yet below the surface, I see beauty in the
essence of the soul.
