The Best of the Year

You know how there are always lists of the best movies, books, highlights, and best events of the year?  How about creating your own best of list for the year?

I remember Jill Badonsky, from my Kaizen Muse coaching training telling us that she does this as a ritual every year and I think it’s a great idea.

Why create your best of year in review list?

There are many good reasons for creating your own best of the year list.

Focusing on what you liked and what went well is always a good practice.

It helps you to remember the year as a snapshot and can be fun to look back to see what happened.

You can choose to create more of what you want by paying attention to what matters to you.

Ideas for your own list

Here are some ideas of what you might want on your list:

And the winner is……………

  • Favorite Movies
  • Favorite Books
  • Best Moments of the Year
  • Best Days of the Year
  • Best Simple Pleasures
  • Special Events or Celebrations
  • Funniest Moment
  • Favorite Music
  • Favorite Activities
  • Best Thing You Learned About Yourself
  • Best Place You Visited

What else would you include on your best of the year list?

A Free Gratitude Journal Reminder Gift for You….

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

As a way to say thank you to you for visiting and to help you to be grateful for what you have in your life, and expanding your focus for more good to come, I’ve created a daily gratitude journal reminder.

You will receive a short email with a quote on gratitude and a reminder to write 5 things in your gratitude journal every day for 31 days

It helps you to establish the habit to make room for more joy in your life!

Even though I created it, I’ve signed myself up a couple of times and am signing up again because it really helps to get you in a good frame of mind!

Please pass this along to share with your friends and family. Enjoy!
